A reliable, professional and smooth operation with our customers for us is crucial, which is why we have further developed our strike system, which forms the basis for documenting and dealing with any misconduct. At the same time we want to be as fair as possible to our talents, especially those starting out new with us.
In general one can receive a maximum of three strikes for misconduct at Zenjob. After this one's profile will be permanently deactivated and will not be able to book any further shifts.
We differentiate the severity of the misbehavior to two groups, depending on the time of registration at Zenjob.
Group 1: Less than 30 days of joining Zenjob
Group 2: More than 30 days of joining Zenjob
Experience has shown that talents who have been with Zenjob for less than 30 days are generally less aware of the basic rules.
You can find out exactly how long you have been registered in your email. Look for our first email to you with the subject "A new job, a new role".
How it works:
Group 1: Your Zenjob registration was completed less than 30 days ago.
1 Strike:
- after a warning (see also Warning at Zenjob)
- Requirements were not met or not fulfilled, e.g. dress code or incorrect information about the available equipment or your existing previous experience
- in case of delays without any proof or caused by your own fault
- in case of a proven cash difference during your cashier job.
2 Strikes:
- Third notification of exclusion for job offers at one of our customers due to negative work performance.(See also Exclusion for job offers at certain customers)
- work without booking confirmation (job is not under "pending", see also What happens if I work without a working contract?)
- Cancellation after shift start (see also I didn't cancel my shift - what are the consequences?)
- first time unexcused absence (shift not cancelled)
3 Strikes:
- Fourth notification of exclusion for job offers at one of our customers due to negative work performance.(See also Exclusion for job offers at certain customers)
- Second Unexcused Absence (No-Show)
- Grossly negligent behavior (such as alcohol/drug use during the shift)
- Violation of our GTCs by creating additional user accounts (see GTC § 2 Registration, user account: [...] You may only have one user account at any time. [...]).
